Overview

Integrating Klaviyo enhances your customer notifications significantly. With Klaviyo, you can optimize your notifications through A/B testing for upcoming order emails, allowing you to determine which messages drive higher conversion rates. Furthermore, you can customize the appearance of your notifications to match your branding perfectly.

Install Klaviyo

  • Click setting in your merchant portal of casa subscription app then select Klaviyo app integration from the list.
  • Click install button.
  • It will open klaviyo in new tab, You must accept the permissions.
  • It will redirect to authentication successful page, You can close that tab and return to settings page and app will be connected with Casa klaviyo app.

Build a flow in Klaviyo from metric

Use metrics as the trigger when setting up a Klaviyo flow to automatically send customers notifications when specific events occur.

Step 1 - Send Metric to klaviyo

Each metric corresponds to events performed by customers.

 
 
  • Click on contracts from left sidebar under app.
  • Click on any contract.
  • Pause, Resume, Cancel, Reactivate or attempt billing and api call will initiate to casa klaviyo app and casa klaviyo app will make api call to klaviyo for triggered event. 

Step 2 - Build the flow in klaviyo

To get started with creating a flow in Klaviyo:

  • Open the Klaviyo app.
  • Select “Flows” from the navigation menu.
  • Click on “Create flow” and then choose “Create From Scratch.”
  • Enter a name for your flow and click “Create flow.”

Step 3 - Set the flow trigger

  • Select “Metric” from the Trigger Setup menu.
  • Choose the metric that will trigger the flow, ensuring customers receive the notification based on the specified action.
  • Click “Done” to save the trigger.
  • (Optional) Add any Trigger Filters or Flow Filters as needed.
  • Click “Done” to save the flow trigger.

Step 4 - Set Action

  • Drag the email action to your flow.
  • Click Configure Content to create your email.
  • Update the flow content, including the email name and subject line, and then use the drag-and-drop builder to add content to your email. Review Klaviyo’s guide How to create flow email content to learn more.
  • Use the Preview and Test button to review the content of the notification. Click Send test to experience the email as a user. Click Done to navigate back to your email.
  • Click Save to save the flow.

Step 5 - Test the flow

  • Duplicate the original flow and set a distinct name.
  • Open the flow and click on the trigger.
  • Select Flow Filters and click Add a Flow Filter.
  • Select If someone is or is not on a list from the conditions dropdown menu. Find your test customer list from the dropdown menu and save the filter.
  • Set the Send Status on the Flow to Live to activate the duplicated flow.
  • Perform the specific action on your storefront to trigger the flow and confirm the user experience.

Step 6 - Activate the flow

  • Set the flow message to live so customers can start receiving your notification:
  • Click on the message in the flow.
  • Click the Send Status dropdown from the left-hand configuration sidebar.
  • Change the status to Live.

Metrics as event triggers for Klaviyo flow

Every Klaviyo flow starts with a trigger, which activates the flow when its conditions are met. Metrics are one type of trigger you can use when setting up a Flow Trigger.
